About this collection
Garnet from Sri Lanka's gem fields
Garnet is one of the oldest gems worn by people, and Sri Lanka produces some of the finest. Our garnet collection brings together three of the island's varieties: deep red garnet, raspberry-pink rhodolite garnet and the cinnamon-gold hessonite garnet, known locally as gomedha and one of the nine navaratna stones.
Pendants and earrings
Choose an oval or heart-cut rhodolite garnet pendant framed by a halo of American diamonds, or a pair of garnet stud earrings in a clean four-prong setting for every day. Each stone is natural and sourced in Sri Lanka, set in solid 925 sterling silver and finished by hand.
Wearing and caring for garnet
Garnet is the January birthstone and a traditional gift for a second anniversary. With a hardness of 6.5 to 7.5 it is well suited to daily wear; simply keep it away from hard knocks and clean it with warm soapy water and a soft cloth.
